Beautiful work! Excellent use of space and a wonderful sense of wild, untouched nature that you’ve managed to recreate.
The crisscrossing of the driftwood arrangement, without wasting every space but without making people feel depressed, it is really wonderful!
This is an outstanding aquascape and my personal favourite. What immediately captures my attention is the incredible sense of immersion created by the composition. The designer has managed to recreate the atmosphere of an established, submerged forest, drawing the me into a completely different environment along with the detailing at the bottom of the tank to infer fallen debris. The hardscape is particularly impressive. The intricate arrangement of branches and driftwood creates a wonderful overhead canopy and resembling the interlocking branches and exposed roots of an ancient rainforest. The extensive use of moss adds maturity and character to the woodwork, softening the structure and giving the impression that this environment has evolved naturally over many years. The healthy grown in planting is beautifully integrated into the hardscape. Different textures, leaf shapes and shades of nature create a convincing environment without appearing overly arranged. The transitions between the foreground, midground and background are particularly successful, helping to establish multiple layers of depth. Finally the use of one of my favourite fish, Rummy Nose Tetra is the icing on the cake for me in this scape.
