About This Aquascape
This aquarium was always deeply cherished by my grandfather. He was fascinated by how something so small could feel so vast, with a beauty that completely captivated him. Sadly, my grandfather passed away in December 2025. In his honour, I decided to name the aquarium Avonel — a combination of “Nel,” as he was known, and “avô,” the Portuguese word for grandfather.
