Judges' Comments
This entry presents a beautifully vibrant collection of various aquatic plants. By omitting hardscape, it heavily channels a classic Dutch style. That said, it misses several technical rules of the Dutch category, such as the inclusion of plant streets, a defined focal point, and it utilizes too many plant species for this aquarium size, including an overwhelming amount of red foliage. In the context of the Classic category, the multi-colored plant groupings are currently arranged in straight rows, strictly separating the foreground, midground, and background. This structured alignment gives the aquarium a farm tank appearance rather than a natural landscape or a well-designed flower garden. The work would gain much more depth and artistic impact by softening these straight lines, varying the shapes and sizes of the plant clusters, and introducing a captivating centerpiece plant. I sincerely hope to see this aquascaper return with new entries for both the Dutch and Classic categories in future AGAIAC competitions.

Nice mix of colors and different plant textures. Having a bit more variation in the size and shape of the plant groups will make the layout a bit less stiff. The fish selection seems a bit random, especially the lonely Cardinal tetra which is more commonly found in good sized groups.

This is a Dutch style and well done, not a " Nature Classic" style.
