Inspired by Takashi Amano aquarium, I have long admired the Iwagumi aquascape. I wanted to imitate his spirit of creating endless fields using the ADA products and make a wonderful Iwagumi. Please enjoy my Iwagumi aquascape, which was created using ADA 万天石.

This Iwagumi layout beautifully captures the essence of elegant simplicity. While the stone arrangement—resembling an open hand with extended fingers—it creates a highly captivating and imaginative scene. This unique feature sparks the viewer's curiosity and opens up room for interpretation, making the overall work both serene and profoundly memorable
This is an excellent Iwagumi layout, The composition and angles of the rock work introduces subtle shadows and movement to the rock formation, and the mixed carpet gives a naturalistic nature feel to the layout without feeling unkempt. Great sensitivity is shown towards managing both hardscape and plants. One thing I would pick on is the background Eleocharis vivipara forming a flat green curtain against the back glass, which is slightly stiff compared to the rest of the aquascape. Great work overall.
More time for plants to grow and mature would add to overall feel. Well done.
