I created this scape from inspiration on LA GREVOLOSA. This is a beech forest located in the valley of the La Grevolosa zone, within the Sant Pere de Torelló town in Catalonia Country. This forest is a high expression of nature tree roots covered by mosses and plants. Plants has been adapted to the scape according nature exposure. I hope you like it.
Pterophyllum scalare

The true strength of this layout lies in its vibrant, natural integration of diverse plant species, creating excellent and highly intriguing textures. The sense of layering is beautifully balanced, inviting the viewer to explore deeper into the scape. The distribution of colors from the Rotala stem plants is masterfully executed, providing a striking contrast against the fresh green carpet formed by Eleocharis, Cryptocoryne parva, 'Monte Carlo', Lobelia, Eriocaulon, and moss. Such an organic amalgamation clearly required ample time to mature, allowing each individual species to fully express its health and harmonize beautifully as a collective ecosystem.
A captivating aquascape with ambitious layering of different plant species. A lot of work has gone into contouring the various plant groups, and the fish stand out very well. The mixing of Eleocharis acicularis into the foreground coupled with the rotund mound of plants give a truly unique fluffy feeling to the aquascape. However, the dense growth hides some harsh trimming work and deteriorated older growth that will present problems down the road. Most fascinating work.
a better fish choice would have been more apropriate for this layout and scored it higher.
