This is a truly impressive and deeply dimensional masterpiece that beautifully embodies the classic spirit. The aquascaper demonstrates exceptional horticultural mastery by seamlessly blending three species of Marsilea (M. hirsuta, M. minuta, and M. quadrifolia) with Hydrocotyle umbellata L. The transition of scales—from a tight, low-growing carpet in the foreground to taller, natural growth toward the background—is flawless, establishing a superb sense of depth and tonal control. Furthermore, the strategic integration of various Bucephalandra species, rich in diverse leaf shapes and coloration, blends organically into the layout without feeling forced. The naturalistic placement of moss and Riccardia on the hardscape further enhances the raw, aged texture of the driftwood. The composition is elegantly completed by the delicate use of long, flowing Changpu and Cyperus helferi leaves in multiple sizes, adding a graceful touch of movement to the entire scenery. Overall, this layout presents a well-balanced botanical composition that effectively reflects the sustainable and timeless qualities of a classic aquascape.

Interesting plant mix in a layout that showcases Hydrocotyle species very well. I like the focus in this aquascape. I wish the fish stood out more and that the photograph quality could be better. Very good work overall.
