About This Aquascape

My inspiration for this aquarium was the tranquility of a dark forest. At the center of the composition is a weathered, monumental tree trunk, around which the entire scene is built. I wanted to create a sense of depth and silence by contrasting the dark, moss-covered tree with the translucent greens of the background — as if the viewer were peering into a forgotten, submerged forest. Each plant was deliberately placed in its place: the subtle background textures evoke distant canopy trees, while the winding roots and low mosses give the composition a natural stability.
