Judges' Comments
This aquarium, measuring 90x30x40 cm (108.0 L), barely meets any of the requirements or expectations for a "Dutch-style" aquarium. The layout is extremely cluttered, an effect exacerbated by the absence of a background. The technical equipment is far too visible. The tank is much too small for Discus fish, as well as for *Denisoni* barbs, which require significantly more space and must be kept in a school. Both species need ample room to reach their full growth potential. Furthermore, the total number of fish is very high, with no proper distribution across the different water layers. Although the plants and fish currently appear healthy, it is questionable what their condition will be a year from now. Keeping "glow fish" (genetically modified fluorescent fish) is considered controversial within the aquarium hobby.
