Many components of this paludarium lack integration to create a whole picture. There are many elements that are interesting, independently; however, when placed together, they feel unconsidered. Planting on the emergent portion is lacking in maturity and care, with foliage underdeveloped and not oriented towards the light. Below the surface, planting is even more sparse and lacking in integration. With more care, elements like wiring and overflow tubing could be concealed to enhance a sense of immersion.
