Judges' Comments
There are some beautiful elements to this display, though, many lack full integration to create a cohesive display. One could argue there are too many seperate elements competing for attention above the surface. This is not true below the surface, as planting is unified, giving a strong sense of completeness. Lighter pieces of wood above the surface stand out in contrast to the darker ones, drawing attention to yellowing foliage in the upper right two thirds of the composition. The presence of visible spray foam in the upper right corner also challenges the creator's attention to detail. The choice of livestock compliments the plant choice above the surface in color only, not in theme. With effort committed to culling the various independent elements, this would become a fantastically impactful paludarium.

I would like to see more of a transition from aquatic, to terrestrial plants. I can see exposed spray foam in the corner. Maybe it's meant too look like rock, but it just looks unnatural to me and it cost you points. The aquatic plants look really heathy, as do most of your terrestrial plants, though I do see some yellowing, here and there, up top.
