Judges' Comments
Superb use of wood in your riparium, which matches the more sparse nature of the aquascape. The flowering of the Lepodyctium riparium is what sets this aquascape apart from many other. I like the choice of stone that was used to build the aquascape. The darker red colors in the stone really complements the green from the plants giving it a very natural appearance. I would have liked to see the Myriophyllum developed a little more so that it was more filled out. Beautiful riparium - well done!

This is phenemonally expressive display. The creator showcases a great mastery of hardscape composition within a small container, providing a strong sense of visual hierarchy and movement. The plant selection both above and below the surface are excellently considered and planted with clear intentionality. The husbandry displayed by the creator is fantastic, with an amazing display of emergent mosses in full display of sporophytes. This is not only a wonderful sign of care, but brilliant timing by the creator.

Liked the extensive use of moss and the bold shape of the wood. Underwater feature with plants also added to the beauty and drew the eye downward. Nicely done.
