A nice-looking aquarium, and I'd like to add a few comments. There are many similarly shaped leaf clusters together. Far fewer plant species are listed than I count in the aquarium. The plant clusters at the back are all about the same height, forming a dense wall. Only the heads of Ludwigia sphaerocarpa are planted, while this could be a beautiful mid-ground or background plant. Lysemachia parvifolia is a bit pushed back on the right side, while this could be a beautiful solitary specimen or even a cluster. These are still very young specimens and not mentioned in the plant list. A beautiful large school of Rasbora hengeli, but no numbers are listed. Panda Garra Fish prefers fast-flowing, oxygen-rich water and is better suited to a dedicated aquarium with some smooth rocks. Surface-dwelling fish are missing. A map showing the placement of the plants is missing. A record of fish numbers is also missing.
The dual Echonodorus Vesuvius on either ends along with two large grasses at the focal points create way too much symmetry. There is not enough contrast between plant groups. Many of the background plants seem to have the same height and similar leaf shape. The trimming and height variation of the Syngonanthus creates a highly atficial effect. Remove stunted Ammannia from the front - few manage to grow this plant under EI conditions. Five or 6 fewer species would have helped this tank.
