What a lush and healthy Wabi Kusa. This aquascape could use a good trimming and replanting to refine the growth of the various plants on the Wabi Kusa. Unfortunately, the container really restricts the design intended for the aquascape and the wood appears to be more of an afterthought than something that complements the display.

This is a great wabi kusa that would become absolutely stunning if it received significant trimming for density. The display feels claustrophobic as leaves press against the glass, escaping the vessel. The substrate demands cleaning, as detritus accumulation is difficult to remove in such a crowded display. I imagine such a wabi kusa to be beautiful if trimmed and replanted lower. The artist clearly has the skill to grow these plants with great health, so to see them in full color and with shorter stems would be an absolute joy.

— Jack McCarley

The branch coming out of the container is a nice touch and I like the red plant contrast to the green plants. However the plants look overgrown and could have been trimmed back so it's not overwhelming the container. Some empty space in the vase would have added to the balance of the wood and the plants.
