The birth of my daughter brought a whirlwind of emotions. The joy, the overwhelming love, but also the sleepless nights and constant care. Amidst the feeding, changing, and soothing, I found a sanctuary in my aquarium. It was my refuge, my creative outlet. With a baby on my arm and a keen eye for detail, I embarked on creating this aquascape. The rough stones formed the foundation, the lush plants the gentle hills. It was a challenge, especially with the limited time and energy. But the thought of the IAPLC, the International Aquatic Plants Layout Contest, kept me going. I dreamed of my work, my passion, being recognized. Every spare moment was spent perfecting the scape. It was my way of escaping the baby bubble, of creating something purely mine. And now, with the photos submitted, I feel a deep sense of accomplishment. Regardless of the result, I'm proud of what I've achieved. This is my story, captured in stone and plants, an ode to the power of creativity and perseverance.
