"Beyond the Surface" is a journey exploring the delicate balance nature establishes with water and light. The plant tissue rising within the glass confines of the aquarium symbolizes a transition where soil meets water, where life spills upward. The natural piece of driftwood on the left resembles a shore shaped by time, while the red-toned plants on the right emphasize the exuberance and diversity of life. This riparium simultaneously evokes the tranquility and power of life flourishing above the water. This is not a corner of nature; it is a gateway to a universe. It reminds us that nature continues beyond the surface.

I did a 100% water change once a week. I used Dooa suikei fertilizer three days a week to maintain plant health and growth. I also used osmosis water and Dooa misto spray three days a week.
A very classic and vibrant riparium aquascape with good use of a variety of colors and textures. I enjoyed the use of the driftwood to provide nice directional flow in the aquascape. The Ludwigia provides a nice pop of color and it's growth outside of the aquarium is added touch that gives the ripariums an even more natural feel. Very well done!
This is very beautiful display that demonstrates strong attention to plant husbandry. There is a wide assortment of species present, speaking to the creator's ability to care for such species in great health. The transition from above to below the surface is clearly understood, though, hardscape elements do create stark shadows that make it difficult to fully appreciate the effort that has gone into the submerged planting. That said, the emergent growth is understandably lush, but the mosses do demand trimming to better appreciate the other species in the background of this layout. Overall, a fantastic entry with a great appreciation for plant care.
Interesting and creative use of moss. The angular arrangement with the weeping red color was striking.
