Cedral, SP, Brazil
A very colorful aquarium. Many plants with similar leaf shapes are arranged in a row in the background. There are no views of the back wall to suggest depth. All the plant groups are (too) close together. A solitary plant is missing for depth. The entire collection of plants forms an impenetrable unity. There is too much visibility of the side walls. So many plant species in a relatively small aquarium creates a very cluttered appearance. 6 tetras penguin redtail, the fish population is meager. Surface-dwelling and bottom-dwelling fish are absent. A map showing the placement of the plants is missing.
Pretty tank but it doesnt belong in the Dutch category
It hurts me to downrank a tank like this because the aquarist clearly has impressive horticultural skills and gets the gist of it. Except, this is the classic 'fruit stand' style or a vibrant garden style, which are not Dutch in the stict sense.
