The two pumps, hidden in the back of the hardscape, pump water to the top of the hardscape in the left and right corner. From there two little streams run down the hardscape and keep the surface constantly wet.

This is a tremendous layout, making for a uniquely beautiful paludarium. This layout redefines expectations of what one should expect when seeking to create such a display. The hardscape is bold and easily understood through its gestural composition, leading the eye up to its vanishing point, as intended. Formulaic in this regard, the creator provides a unique planting plan that helps to further convey the layout. Planting is especially well-executed on the left and right corners, with beautiful attention to detail paid in the submerged front corner transitions, providing a seamless drift underwater. A minor tannin tint is welcomed, giving a richness to the well-manicured submerged portion and a further emphasis on the naturality of this layout.' Fantastic work - a joy to view!
Such a fun Paludarium. The wood is so dramatic but is not dominating or overbearing at all, it just fits the space well and has great flow. Your planting is harmonious with the hardscape and the plants them selves look impeccably healthy. I commend you for fully utilizing the water section, which is often overlooked or under developed in these contests. You made the transition from aquatic to terrestrial plants look seamless. My only nit pic is, I wish I could see the shrimp in the tank. Great work.
