A Message from the AGAIAC Committee Chair

It is my sincere pleasure to announce that the 2024 Aquatic Gardeners Association International Aquascaping Contest will open on Friday, November 15th for submission of entries to our contest. Because of how late the contest is opening this year, the time allotted for submission of an aquascape will need to be drastically shortened in order to complete the judging and to announce the winners before the end of the year.

I would like to give a HUGE shout out to Nguyen Le and Jennifer Williams who stepped in to help us quickly design and establish a site to submit entries. After considerable technical difficulties and multiple attempts to implement the previous contest entry system, our new technical team has worked very hard to put together a system that will allow us to commence with the contest. Although the system differs from previous years, we hope that the process for entering the contest works well for everyone. Of course, if there are technical issues during the process, we will do our best to resolve the issue in a timely manner to ensure all aquascapers can participate in the contest. As mentioned before, submission to the contest is abbreviated this year, so don’t miss the deadline of December 8th, 11:59pm EST. We will be posting announcements regularly to ensure people don’t miss the deadline for submitting an aquascape for the 2024 contest.

The AGA contest committee looks forward to seeing the submissions and wholeheartedly apologizes for the long delay in opening of the contest for this year.
